BY COMPLETING YOUR ORDER, WE ASSUME THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREED TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SHIPPING FAQ PAGE

the impact of COVID-19 is causing local, state, and national governments around the world to issue work and travel restrictions on a daily basis which are impacting shipping companies and their ability to meet their high standards of service. As a result, all money-back guarantees have been suspended, except for FedEx 1-day, until further notice. if you pay extra for expedited shipping, and the shipping company fails to deliver the order in the specified time, we will work with them to give you partial credit. however, this is not always successful :(

if you check out with a credit or debit card, your card is debited for anything (parts or shipping) when you submit an order. we process your card after your order is reviewed, any problems are addressed, and it is put into the shipping queue. Paypal orders are paid in full when you submit, unless Paypal rejects the payment. we'll contact you if this happens. orders paid by other shipping methods (Western Union transfers, bank transfers, and mail-in payments) are shipped after payment is received
 
Contiguous 48 United States customers:
- most orders are shipped the same day if received by 4pm CST (Monday through Friday), unless they contain custom wheels, custom bikes, or out-of-stock items. there is usually no shipping Saturday or Sunday. Saturday and Sunday are usually not included in Fedex delivery times, so please take this into consideration if delivery if time-sensitive. For example, an order shipping on a Friday with 2-day shipping will arrive the following Tuesday (Monday = first business day after shipping, Tuesday = second business day after shipping). we dropship some items directly from our vendors at our discretion
 
- we ship by USPS 1st Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Express Mail, Fedex, and UPS. if multiple carriers are shown in the shipping method you select, we reserve the right to ship by any of the carriers at our discretion *
* EMPIRE BMX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY STOLEN, LOST, OR MISSING PACKAGES. WE WILL WORK WITH THE SHIPPING CARRIER IN THESE INSTANCES, BUT WILL NOT REPLACE OR REFUND ANY SHIPMENT DELIVERED TO THE CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS THEN SUBSEQUENTLY GOES MISSING. EMPIRE BMX WILL NOT REPLACE OR REFUND ANY LOST USPS ECONOMY SHIPMENT (1ST CLASS OR MEDIA MAIL). PLEASE NOTE ANY SPECIAL SHIPPING PREFERENCES OR REQUIREMENTS IN THE ORDER COMMENTS (SIGNATURE REQUIRED FOR DELIVERY, PREFERRED CARRIER, DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS, DELIVERY DATE CONSTRAINTS, ETC.). MOST ORDERS ARE SHIPPED BY FEDEX, SO PLEASE SIGN UP FOR FEDEX DELIVERY MANAGER SO YOU CAN REDIRECT, HOLD FOR PICKUP, OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
 
- if you input a PO Box for your shipping address, we will ship the order via USPS Priority Mail, regardless of what shipping method you select
 
- high value shipments (usually over $500 USD) are subject to signature-required at our discretion
 
- you can view applicable shipping rates and methods during checkout. please realize that these rates can vary due to a variety of factors, including parcel size, weight, rural address, etc. some items incur higher shipping costs due to size and/or weight (handlebars, frames, tires, helmets). we will contact you for authorization if your order requires an increase in shipping cost greater than $5.00
 
- shipping inside Texas is free for orders over $200.00, complete bikes, rails and some oversized products excluded. we ship via Fedex, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail
 
Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico customers: we ship by Fedex Express or USPS Priority Mail at our discretion, unless you request a different carrier in the comments box in the checkout process. Maui is sweet, I haven't been to Alaska or Puerto Rico yet
 
US Military customers:  we ship by USPS Priority Mail to military base addresses. thank you for your service to our country, stay safe out there!
 
International customers:
- all prices and transactions are in USA dollars (USD)
 
- we ship by USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Express Mail, and FedEx at our discrection, unless you request a different carrier in the comments box in the checkout process. if you request a different shipping method, we will email you with the applicable costs before processing your order. you can find out more about USPS shipping here. please be aware that delivery times can vary due to Customs processing in the destination country, but delivery to Customs usually takes 3-5 days. USPS First Class Mail can take anywhere from one week to 1-2 months for delivery. please select USPS Priority Mail / Fedex for faster delivery. Empire BMX will not replace or refund any lost USPS First Class Mail shipment
 
- any applicable import taxes, duties, customs taxes, courier fees, etc. are the responsibility of the customer to pay upon delivery, so please be prepared for these. if you are unsure of these costs, please contact the nearest shipping authority

- small and/or lightweight packages often cost less to ship than the posted rates; we will adjust the shipping cost prior to card processing, or by Paypal refund
 
C.O.D. payment: we will ship C.O.D. orders to customers in the USA under certain circumstances, but not without prior authorization. if you want to pay by C.O.D., please call us at (512) 474-4269 to place your order. no online orders will be shipped C.O.D., and there is no C.O.D. available for shipments outside the USA
